Gathoda: A Hip Hop Musical by Siddhesh
About the event
Gathoda is an experimental hip-hop musical built from the little moments, memories and experiences that shape who we become. Told through Siddhesh's lens, the show brings his journey to life through music, storytelling and performance.
A Mumbai-based Marathi rapper and songwriter, Siddhesh began writing at age fifteen. His years in theatre further shaping his understanding of storytelling and performance. Over time, he found his voice through hip-hop, building a sound rooted in Marathi culture, personal experiences and the realities of everyday life.
With Gathoda, Siddhesh takes this world beyond individual songs into a complete live experience. The musical weaves together memories, emotions and moments that may belong to one person, yet feel familiar to many.
At its heart, Gathoda is a reminder that no matter how different our journeys appear, we are all connected by the simple fact that we are human - and by the memories we carry with us.
