About the Event
Join us for a special workshop that brings together literary appreciation and love for local Singaporean food.
At this session, led by Suchandra Roychowdhury (author and educator), participants will read selected passages from Sweet Braised Duck and reflect on how Chew Ngee Tan captures the beauty of being human through the medium of food that connects us to people, places, and shared experiences.
Drawing literary inspiration from Sweet Braised Duck, participants will then be guided to create or write about their own experiences where food has played a pivotal role in shaping lives, relationships or memories.
PLEASE NOTE:
Participants are encouraged to bring a pen and a writing pad for the session.
