Kit Downes Met Southern Bodies

Kit Downes is back at the Orgelpark! This evening's programme is a collection of works by Downes – a mix of material from his upcoming album ‘Southern Bodies’ on ECM Records and new pieces composed especially for tonight's ensemble. About Kit Downes

Within this large ensemble, there are various long-standing musical collaborations, both with Kit Downes and among each other. The concert will be a lively and detailed collection of music, exploring themes such as transience, sleep and the human body – all through the lens of the countless sound worlds offered by the many organs in the Orgelpark, supplemented by a few additional examples from across Europe.
