You don't know the artists yet... and that is exactly the intention! You are very welcome at Live At Our Place, a monthly, intimate concert series where you get to know your new favourite artists through music, food and conversation. Each edition brings together 2 acts from the same genre, ranging from jazz to electronic music. With more than 100 musicians in-house at Treehouse, there is always fresh talent to discover. Throughout the evening, our Italian vegan chef prepares snacks inspired by the artists' personal preferences – yet another way to get to know them. This month: punk/rock Labasheeda

Labasheeda is an idiosyncratic rock trio from Amsterdam and currently consists of Saskia van der Giessen (vocals, guitar, violin), Arne Wolfswinkel (guitar, bass) and George Hadow (drums). The music of Labasheeda is not easily pigeonholed; the band is constantly looking for new musical paths, where raw punk rock is alternated with hypnotic grooves. The unorthodox use of violin, the often unconventional time signatures and the distinctive voice of Saskia van der Giessen give the band its unique sound. On stage, the band delivers intense and dynamic shows. The band has toured extensively throughout Europe since its formation.

Teenagetits forever after death

Teenage Tits Forever After Death has been a household name in Amsterdam for over 25 years. The band is homegrown and still manages to touch new generations of audiences and bands. They bring an extremely energetic show, which musically aligns with local legends such as Human Alert, Poison Idea and OD Kids; the repertoire consists exclusively of their own, self-written punk rock anthems.

The band's only ambition is to unite and emphasize our collective human experience. What awaits us is a good, old-fashioned sound. Simplified by the four elements of punk: drums, bass, vocals and maximum guitar.
