An evening of pivoted flavour with Justine Drake and Terry Owen-Jones Dower You’re invited to an unforgettable Protein Pivot cooking demonstration, hosted by MasterChef judge Justine Drake alongside Protein Pivot co-founder Terry Owen-Jones Dower. Across three clearly demonstrated recipes, the evening brings the four Protein Pivot principles to life on the plate. This is where the science meets the stove by prioritising plant-based proteins, practising mindful meat consumption, supporting ethical and sustainable sourcing, and embracing flavourful moderation. Every dish is a working example of what a considered, rebalanced meal option truly tastes like. A significant part of the evening will be dedicated to something Protein Pivot cares about deeply, such as how to cook and season beans and legumes properly, so that they carry a dish. Justine and Terry will walk through the techniques that turn well-known cooking classics into something that includes a 60:40 ratio split - demonstrating how to make a plant-forward dish something you crave. You will leave with a special goodie bag valued at up to R800, three recipes you can recreate at home, and the chance to ask questions to Justine and Terry during a dedicated Q&A exploring bespoke pivoted recipes you’re welcome to bring with you.
