Wine Dinners with Fledge & CoWednesday, September 30, 20266:30 PM The Fledge & Co has never been particularly interested in following the expected route. Instead, Leon Coetzee searches across the Cape for remarkable vineyards, old vines and lesser-known varieties, bringing them together through thoughtful, old-school winemaking. For this five-course dinner, the wines tell that story from beginning to end. The selection moves from old-vine Chenin and a many-variety Cape white blend into field blends and Portuguese varieties, celebrating the Cape’s long history of blending and the vineyards that are too special to be forgotten.Leon will be joining us to present the wines and share the stories behind them, while Chef Blaine creates five courses around the evening’s line-up.If you enjoy discovering wines with a little history, plenty of personality and a story worth hearing, we’d love to have you around the table.
