About the event
An introduction to editorial design principles through the relationship between graphic design and print production. Participants learn the fundamentals of design history and their practical applications: typeface selection, colour palette definition, page composition, margins and grids, and text-image relationships. The course covers Adobe tools—Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign—focusing on bitmap and vector image creation and treatment, as well as printing processes. Participants conclude by developing an individual or collaborative editorial project produced at Complexo Cultural Oswald de Andrade.
