Turma Capital: Editorial Design Fundamentals

Presentation of editorial design principles based on the relationship between graphic design and print production. Over the sessions, participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of design history and their practical implications, such as choosing typeface families, defining the color palette, final page composition, delimitation by margins and grids, as well as the many possible associations between word and image. The course also includes an introduction to Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign tools, covering the creation and processing of bitmap and vector images, with particular attention to the final stage of this process: printing. Finally, participants will apply their knowledge in the development of an individual or collective editorial project that will be produced at the Complexo Cultural Oswald de Andrade.
