As you wander along the Thames, you’ll learn why Shakespeare was summoned to appear in court no fewer than three times; and why duels, violence and even murder between rival actors and playwrights, including the likes of Christopher Marlowe and Ben Jonson, were more common than you’d imagine in Early Modern England.
