Works by Liam Francis Dance Company, Kwasi Obeng-Adjai & Ambrose Tjark, and Compagnie KH This programme is all about street dance as a form of storytelling. Artists from Canada, Nigeria, the UK, and France will perform works woven with emotion, humour and intrigue - including a heist! Content warning: use of haze. Program HEARTBEATS features dynamic street dance works layered with African, contemporary dance, and cinematic influences. Each is personal, each is heartfelt in their quest to satisfy universal human desires - intimacy and belonging, freedom to move throughout the world, fairness and justice.
