CHOCOLATE Kintsugi: A Mindful Edible Art Experience

CHOCOLATE Kintsugi: A Mindful Edible Art Experience

QUEST XO Chocolate, Toronto

About the event

Looking for something creative to do in Toronto that doesn’t involve another crowded bar, another screen, or trying to make something “perfect”? Chocolate Kintsugi at QUEST XO offers a slower, more reflective take on chocolate painting in Liberty Village. Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi, guests begin by painting a handcrafted chocolate canvas with edible paints. Then comes the unexpected part: You break it on purpose. The pieces are repaired with shimmering 24k edible gold, turning the cracks into part of the artwork instead of something to hide. It’s creative without being competitive, thoughtful without becoming too serious, and a great excuse to spend a couple of hours doing something with your hands. What to expect 💛 • A relaxed, small-group chocolate art experience • A handcrafted chocolate canvas • Edible paints and brushes • 24k edible gold • All tools and materials • Tea, sparkling water, or seasonal non-alcoholic sips • A beautifully boxed edible creation to take home No artistic experience required. Perfect for 💛 • Solo outings in Toronto • Creative dates • Friends looking for something beyond dinner and drinks • Visitors searching for a unique Toronto experience • Anyone craving a little less scrolling and a little more making • Recovering perfectionists 📍Located in Liberty Village, QUEST XO’s Creative Lab is a colourful, welcoming space where chocolate becomes a medium for creativity, connection, and doing something a little different with your time. Break it. Mend it. Eat it.
