DARA Cuisine from Phuket at the Anantara Palais Hansen Vienna Hotel

A culinary gem from Phuket is coming to Vienna: From October 22 to December 13, 2026, Brasserie Sophie at the Anantara Palais Hansen Vienna Hotel will transform into DARA Cuisine, the signature restaurant of the Anantara Layan Phuket Resort. For two months, Chef Hongz’s team will travel from Thailand to Vienna, bringing the flavors, craftsmanship, and culinary style of southern Thailand to the Austrian capital. The culinary style of Chef de Cuisine Hongz, Supakarn Lienpanich, is closely tied to her Thai-Chinese family history and combines traditional recipes with influences from various Asian cuisines. The focus is on the flavors and traditions of southern Thailand, which Chef Hongz interprets in a contemporary and sophisticated way. Aromatic herbs, distinctive spices, and seasonal ingredients characterize a cuisine that emphasizes clarity, intensity, and the natural flavors of high-quality ingredients.
