About the event
Join us for a casual workshop-w-no-real-work focused on enhancing relationships (with ourselves and others) through practical empathy.
I'll be there early to drink coffee, eat breakfast tacos, get the best table, and soak up the vibe;-)
I'll bring a couple copies of the "Play to Evolve" card game we play and my book, "A Practical EmPath: Rewire Your Mind".
Through the lens of Non-violent Communication (NVC) and Practical Empathy Practice (PEP), we will get to know each other while delving into some of: • "Nice" vs "Kind": Empathy *and* authenticity? • Obligations: Expectations; what do you "owe" anyone? • When conflict is necessary... and how to resolve. • Create successful relationships. • Self-empowerment. • Self-exploration. • Authentic connection. • Or wherever the game leads us\!
Whether you're seeking to • Navigate social anxiety\, • Rob a bank\, • Improve your understanding of other humans\, and/or to • Enhance your people skills\, this work/play-shop will provide practical tools and strategies.
