Hartwig Proxy Museum: Music from Ege Şahin

At Hartwig Proxy, the testing ground for the future Hartwig Museum, sound artist and composer Ege Şahin will give a musical performance. The performance takes place in the intimate cellar of Proxy, where you can experience up close how Şahin works with sound and music. You can attend a presentation of video work, socialise, enjoy cake and drinks from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM; the concert starts at 6:30 PM. Electronic sounds Ege Şahin is a Turkish composer and improvisational musician who lives in The Hague. In his work, he explores how we experience sound and how people can participate with music. He uses various means for this, such as guitar, computer, found objects, and mobile phones. He also works with recordings of ambient sounds, noise, and electronic sounds. Hartwig Proxy is a place where artists can experiment and where people from the neighborhood and the city can meet.
