Grachtenfestival: Nata Roinishvili & Elene Gogodze

Violinist Nata Roinishvili and violist Elene Gogodze perform chamber music for violin and viola at the NIO House during the Grachtenfestival. The program includes works by Mozart, Handel/Halvorsen, and Martinů: from playful chamber music to virtuosic variations and rhythmically more whimsical sounds. Chamber music for violin and viola Violinist Nata Roinishvili and violist Elene Gogodze present a program for two string instruments from three totally different musical worlds. Mozart opens with his Duo in B-flat major : playful and refined. Handel/Halvorsen follows with virtuosity and spectacular variations. Martinů concludes with his Three Madrigals , more whimsical and rhythmic in character, full of pace and energy. Together, the two musicians demonstrate the versatility of the violin and viola. Two internationally emerging musicians Nata Roinishvili began playing the violin at the age of four, surrounded by a family of musicians. She studied at the Amsterdam Conservatory and won prizes at international competitions in several countries. From 2026, she continues her studies at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid. Elene Gogodze is affiliated with the LGT Young Soloists and combines her work as a violist with composing. Both have performed in venues such as the Concertgebouw, Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ, and Konzerthaus Berlin. Canal Festival at the NIO House Amsterdam The concert takes place at the NIO House Amsterdam, one of the special venues of the Grachtenfestival in Amsterdam.
