ADHD+ & Self-Esteem - Being Enough
About the event
When we grow up, live, study and work within systems that are not designed for us, what gets affected the most is our self-esteem.
We learn to believe that we are the problem, that we are not enough, that there is something wrong with us.
And that is simply not true, most of our struggles are systemic, yes we do have struggles and yes some things are really hard, but that does not mean that we are worthless or deserve less.
The main factor to thrive with a neurodivergent brain is to re-learn to accept and love ourselves as we are, easier to say than to accept it and do it, yeah, is. hard topic.
That is why we need a community to support us
Alone, everything can be hard. Together, we can create the world we need and deserve... and have fun in the process.
Practicalities: • Bring your own food and drinks\, share if you feel like (no alcohol) • I will open the door as close as possible to 18:30 (I'm time blind, I can be late but I'm trying my best) • We aim to start the conversation by 19:00 • We start with an introduction circle that takes +- 45 min • We will have a 10 min. break around 20:00 • Then we go into small groups for around 1h • We finish around 21:00 • You can stay in the space and socialise until 22:00
