What We Do in the Shadows

In modern-day Wellington, New Zealand, a group of centuries-old vampires share a suburban flat and struggle with the mundane realities of modren domestic life. When a camera crew documents their daily routines, the arrival of a newly turned vampire and his human software-engineer friend introduces the ancient flatmates to contemporary culture, forcing them to adapt to the 21st century. Driven by razor-sharp improvisation, deadpan comedy, and inventive visual gags, this Taika Waititi classic offers a brilliant, endearing subversion of classic creature-feature tropes, earning its status as a cult classic. In English. Rated NC16 for Some Violence and Nudity.
