About the event
About the Event
The LKCNHM Public Talkshop 2026 is the second iteration of a public research symposium, designed to share the Museum’s biodiversity research, specimen-based science, and stories with a broader audience. Building on the success of the first public research symposium in 2025, Specimens, Science, and Stories, which showcased behind-the-scenes work, historical perspectives, and panel discussions, the 2026 Talkshop will feature a series of six focused, public-friendly talks and interactive conversations in a bite-sized format.
These talks will highlight current affairs and ongoing research across a range of topics, offering participants opportunities to learn more about the Museum’s research and engage directly with its researchers. Each talk will be approximately 20 minutes, followed by a Q&A session.
The programme will also feature the launch of LKCNHM’s revamped Biodiversity of Singapore (BOS) website and the Museum’s new book, Archipelago: Singapore Island Stories, alongside opportunities to mingle and chat with our researchers.
