About the event
Welcome to Basgiath War College, where becoming a dragon rider is as dangerous as the war waiting beyond its walls. Rebecca Yarros’s Fourth Wing follows Violet Sorrengail as she’s forced into the brutal Riders Quadrant, where survival means outthinking her classmates, bonding with a dragon, and navigating an increasingly complicated alliance with the formidable Xaden Riorson.
Read the book beforehand and come ready to talk dragons, romance, rivalries, worldbuilding, character arcs, and the storytelling choices that made Fourth Wing a phenomenon. We’ll discuss it both as readers and as writers—what worked, what didn’t, and what we can learn from it for our own stories.
