Free Women’s Empowered Self-Defense Classes
About the event
For over 3.5 years, Bellevue Police have been teaching the Women Empowered program, empowering women in the community with practical self-defense skills. Over 3,000 women have already participated! The program covers 20 essential techniques divided into 15 lessons, each focusing on one or more of the 4 phases of an assault (by strangers or non-strangers). You can join at any time — the lessons are designed to be completed in any order. No prior experience required Ages 12+ welcome Wear fitness/workout attire Supportive and safe environment ⸻ Important Info ⚠️ Space is limited and preregistration is required! 📩 To register and save your spot, email Officer Craig at chanaumi@bellevuewa.gov He will confirm if there is a spot for you and send you the address.
