The Rietveld Ensemble presents an evening full of chamber music composed by Latin American immigrants in the United States. You will hear works by talented composers such as Mario Davidovsky, born in Argentina, and Paul Desenne from Venezuela. Orlando Jacinto Garcia and Tania León, both from Cuba, also contribute to this unique musical experience. Discover chamber music from Latin America
Expect surprising compositions by Reinaldo Moya, originally from Venezuela, and Osvaldo Golijov, also born in Argentina. Roberto Sierra from Puerto Rico completes the program with his pieces. Joel Sachs from New York has curated this diverse selection. The evening promises a rich mix of cultures and sounds.
Meet the Rietveld Ensemble
The Rietveld Ensemble is a chamber music group composed of top musicians with international backgrounds. This Utrecht-based group includes prominent soloists, conservatory teachers, and soloists from major Dutch orchestras. Experience the passion and craftsmanship of these experienced musicians.

Also performed are Fragmented Light II by Orlando Jacinto García and Synchronisms 9 by Mario Davidovsky.
