5-day hike with tent in Luxemburg (Mullerthal trail)
About the event
From September 16th till 20th I am walking with two friends the Mullerthal trail in Luxemburg. I am also posting this hike here, in case people are interested to join.
The [Mullerthal Trail](https://www.mullerthal-trail.lu/en) is a 112-kilometer long-distance hiking network in eastern Luxembourg known for its dramatic sandstone rock formations, mossy green forests, and scenic stream valleys. Often called Luxembourg's "Little Switzerland," the path offers well-marked trails that suit both casual walkers and experienced trekkers.
Practical info: We will take the train from Brussels to Luxemburg on Wednesday morning and return on Sunday afternoon. We will sleep four nights at camping sites in Luxemburg. The minimal equipment you need is a tent, warm sleeping bag, mattress, cooking stove and some emergency food. The camp sites have shower facilities and some of them have a restaurant. The first camping also has a swimming pool and lake.
You will also have to carry all your luggage in your backpack. Please reserve the camping sites yourself!

●● What to bring:
• Comfortable hiking clothes &shoes • rain gear (just in case) • water + food for the breaks • sun cream • Compeed for blisters • some small money for drinks
●● Basic rules: Please RSVP only if you really intend to come. And if your plans change, update your RSVP asap. For this hike I will make a WhatsApp group a few days before the hike. For logistics reasons I am also limiting the group to eight people (the three of us included). Cancellations less than two days before the event are not at all appreciated!
●● Acknowledgement of member responsibility and release of liability: You are responsible for yourself and should be fit enough if you want to take part. As the participation in the events is strictly voluntary and you freely choose to join, it is the responsibility of individuals participating to ensure that they are fit enough and have adequate coverage to protect themselves. By signing up for this event, you agree to release the organisers from any responsibility and liability. Moreover, the organisers aren't tour operators, so they don't feel obliged to answer to every text message or email!
