“How to live this life which is given to me?"
In many cultures, such philosophical questions like what the meaning of life is, and how we should live, can be often mixed up with religious doctrines and teaching. In other words, it is not easy to talk about such philosophical questions without religious influence.
I’m from Japan; many non-Japanese people believe Japanese have faith in Buddhism and/or Shintoism. This is an interesting question, because for most Japanese people Buddhism and Shintoism are not so-called “religion”, or rather they are the ways of life. It is the matter of how to live - to me, it is a living practical philosophy than religion.
“How to live this life which is given to me”.
Actually, these days, it seems that many people in this world don’t care this type of issue. I hope I’m wrong. Or I’m totally wrong; they don’t express it and talk about it, but they keep holding this question deep inside of their heart and ponder it from time to time without reaching the right answer.
I’d like to reach out those people. Through the teaching of the Fourth Way, you start learning how to live more deeply and more consciously.
