Workshop: What Makes Relationships Work
About the event
An interactive workshop about making good relationships. By "relationships" I mean any kind of relationships: romantic, friendships, family, with children, and relationships at work.
We will
• Remember what was different about our good relationships in the past • Listen and learn from each other • Find new ideas
About the facilitator The workshop is led by me. My name is Ilia (I-L-I-A) Kovalenko, and I’m a psychotherapist in training under supervision. I hold a degree in Psychotherapy Science from Sigmund Freud University Vienna and work in my private practice with individuals and couples. I work in English and in Russian. You can learn more about my work [on my website](https://iliakov.com/en).
Plan When you arrive, I will ask you to take your shoes off inside. You can use the restroom and have some water.
We wait for everyone and start at 18:10 exactly.
The group is usually around 6 people. Most people come for the first time, and some come again. People have diverse backgrounds and different ages. Many have lived in several countries. This creates a special, accepting environment.
First, I ask everyone to introduce themselves. Then I ask my first question and facilitate the conversation further. I make sure we stay on the topic.
I give each participant a chance to speak. And I pay special attention to people who come for the first time, as joining a new group can feel stressful.
Around 18:40, I ask everyone to share their insights from the conversation, and we finish the conversation at 18:50. I give everyone a worksheet about relationships that you can take home.
Price This pay-as-you-wish workshop. At the end of the workshop, you pay what you think the workshop was worth. I accept cash and bank transfers.
This is a repeated workshop This workshop is repeating every second week. If you have already been to it, you are still very welcome to come again. As the participants will be different, the whole workshop will also be new.
