About the event

Details: Azure Usergroup Denmark and [Azure Skåne](https://www.meetup.com/azure-skane/events/316457795/) are teaming up for a full day of Azure for the Øresund Azure communities. On Wednesday 23 September we take over CodeNode in Nordhavn for six sessions, lunch, cake and plenty of time to talk with people who work with the same things you do. The day runs from cloud sovereignty around lunch to AI security, developer experience and platform engineering in the afternoon, with speakers from both sides of the strait. The event is free to attend. It is made possible with support from Microsoft, and with [CodeNode](https://codenode.dk) as our venue partner.

Sessions

*Magnus Mårtensson, LoftySoft. Microsoft Regional Director and Microsoft Azure MVP. Protecting your mission critical code bases on GitHub.* Abstract to be announced.

*Morten Christensen. Tackling Complexity with a Thin Platform approach using Azure Container Apps* StudyHub is a suite of Digital Products centeret around improving the planning of Clinical Trials within Novo Nordisk through the use of Agentic AI and an Event Driven backend. This session will take a deep dive into how we have taken a thin platform approach across 7 digital products and used it to • increase reusability of infrastructure as code • increase use of pipeline templates • strive for simplicity • plug and play cloud infrastructure for software engineers\, data engineers and data scientists • not compromise on flexibility and extendability • ease onboarding of new services You will learn how we structure our infrastructure as code and pipelines with the consumer in mind, so they don't have to create the same resources from scratch over and over again, avoid the hassle of configuring access, and instead focus on delivery value to our users.

*Marilag Svennevig. Building sovereign applications.* A 30 minute look at what it takes to build applications that meet sovereignty requirements, and what that means for the way you architect on Azure.

*Saeid Dahl. Sovereign AI.* A 30 minute companion to the previous session, taking the sovereignty question into AI workloads.

*Pierre Thoor, Onevinn. Microsoft Security MVP and Senior Cloud Security Architect. Your AI, their Attack Path: Securing Azure AI workloads with Microsoft Defender for Cloud.* Azure AI services are going into production fast, often without the guardrails that traditional workloads get. Public endpoints, API key authentication, over broad RBAC and missing network isolation all quietly widen the attack surface. This is a technical, demo driven session that takes a purple team view, pairing attacker simulation with defensive detection and investigation. It starts with Defender CSPM and how Azure AI resources are inventoried, assessed and pulled into attack path…
