The Dutch love their bitterballen Taste Amsterdam with a local guide during our Amsterdam Food Tour. This walking food tour combines Dutch snacks, local stories, Amsterdam history and hidden places in the city center. During the tour, you will discover typical Dutch food and learn more about the culture behind it. Your guide will share stories about Amsterdam, local eating habits, traditional flavors and the best places to eat and drink in the city. This tour is perfect for visitors who want to experience Amsterdam in a fun, relaxed and tasty way. It is not only about food, but also about the stories, people and traditions that make the city special. The Amsterdam Food Tour runs every Friday and Saturday at 10:30 and is guided by a local storyteller from Free Walking Tours Amsterdam. Please note: The tour is tip-based, but we charge a €8 booking fee per person. This fee includes an online booking fee and compensation for the samples you will taste. The guides offer you the tour for free, but will kindly ask you at the end of the tour to gratify them with a tip, but it is all up to you. This way everybody can enjoy the tour, no matter your budget.
