Welcome to the Queer Mindfulness Meetup!

Our meetings are a safe and inclusive space for queer individuals of all skill levels to explore mindfulness together. Whether you're brand new to mindfulness or a seasoned practitioner, you'll find a warm community here where you can learn, share, and grow.

At our meetups, we delve into the whys and hows of mindfulness, discussing its benefits and practical applications for everyday life. Through guided meditation sessions and open group discussions, we aim to equip each other with the tools and insights to lead more mindful and fulfilling lives.

Types of Meditations We May Explore:

• Breath Awareness Meditation • Loving-Kindness (Metta) Meditation • Mindful Movement (e.g., walking meditation, Yoga, Tai Chi) • Visualization and Imagery Practices

Discussion Topics May Include:

• Exploring the Benefits of Mindfulness • Overcoming Challenges in Meditation Practice • Integrating Mindfulness into Daily Life • Cultivating Self-Compassion and Acceptance • Mindfulness and Queer Identity

We encourage active participation and welcome anyone who wants to co-organize or lead an event. Whether you have a particular meditation technique to share or a topic you're passionate about discussing, your contributions are valued and appreciated.

Come as you are, and let's embark on this journey of self-discovery and connection together.
