Bottoms

Joyous, anarchic comedy about two unpopular lesbians who start a women’s fight club at their high school so they can have sex before they go to university. Corny, acutely observed, absurd and wonderfully grotesque. PJ (Rachel Sennott) and Josie (Ayo Edebiri, The Bear ) become masochistically obsessed with two gorgeous, clearly cis-het cheerleaders Isabel and Brittany, whom they are hopelessly in love with. They start a self-defence group, a sort of ‘fight club’ and hope it will become a radical, feminist, empowering group Isabel and Brittany would love to join.
