For 35 years, Writing NSW has been the engine room of Australian writing, nurturing emerging voices, mentoring careers, and shaping a thriving future for literature in our state. This October, join a host of special authors to help celebrate Writing NSW’s Night of Letters, its major fundraising event for 2026. Your ticket includes: A sparkling welcome reception with wine and canapés under the jacarandas An intimate evening of readings from Australia’s most acclaimed authors Stories and letters shared for the first time on the theme: “To the person who inspired me to write” The chance to connect with fellow lovers of literature and support the future of writing. For less than the cost of a night at the theatre, you’ll enjoy an unforgettable literary experience, while directly investing in the next generation of writers. Special guests include: Stan Grant, Will Kostakis, Eleanor Limprecht, Matt Nable, Natasha Rai, Sophie Stern, Jennifer Wong and Fiona Wright. Hosted by Michaela Kalowski.
