Bunker Hill Urban Hike-Pedways & Angels Flight
About the event
Please join us as we do an urban hike in the Bunker Hill section of DTLA! We will see Bradbury Building, Biddy Mason Park, Angels Flight railway, the tallest building in LA- Library Tower, Bonaventure Hotel, World Trade Center, Central Library, Pershing Square and Biltmore Hotel, the DWP Building and Grand Park. We will also walk on the pedway system! We will also see a forgotten staircase that goes nowhere.
There are some great photo ops on this hike. I posted some pics below. While we will take time for pictures, we can’t spend too much time in one place.
About 6 miles There will be some staircases, Angels Flight and Bunker Hill stairs will be the longest.
The LA dodgers will be losing a game at 1pm. So we should be ok since LA dodger fans are always late arriving.
Meetup time 10am. We will start the hike at 10:05am.

Parking
Please give yourself plenty of time to find parking and walk to the Bradbury Building.
Two lots $10 or $12 per 12 hours are about block from the Bradbury Building.

There is very limited free street parking in the area. Meters aren’t enforced on Sundays.
Public Transit
There are two stations near the Bradbury Building!
B and D lines get off at the Pershing Square Station and exit the station to Grand Central Market! Then walk Bradbury Building.
A Line exit Historic Broadway station. Walk about two blocks to Bradbury Building.
I have recently done this route on a Sunday the pedways were open. But, some access points to the pedways maybe locked, and we’ll find alternative ways.
