CLAIR WEST TO YORKDALE: RAVINE-TO-CITY SUMMER WALK ☀️🌿 **A Hidden Ravine, Neighbourhood Trails & Dinner at Pickle Barrel** Some of Toronto's best walks take you through places you'd never expect. Join us for a relaxed summer walk that combines peaceful ravines, neighbourhood parks, city pathways, and one of Toronto's best shopping destinations—all in one afternoon. We'll begin at **St. Clair West Station** before making our way through the beautiful **Cedarvale Ravine**, one of Toronto's hidden urban escapes. Even in the middle of the city, the mature trees, winding trails, and quiet surroundings make it feel like you've left downtown behind. From there we'll follow the trail beside Allen Road, pass through **Wenderly Park**, walk through the **Allen Centre**, and continue through the evolving **Lawrence Heights** neighbourhood before arriving at **Yorkdale Shopping Centre**. After the walk, anyone who would like to continue is welcome to join us for dinner at **Pickle Barrel**, where we can relax, chat, and get to know one another. The walk is the activity. Along the way we'll: 🌳 Walk through Cedarvale Ravine 🌿 Follow the Allen Road Trail 🏞️ Pass through Wenderly Park 🏙️ Walk through the Allen Centre 🚶 Explore the Lawrence Heights neighbourhood 🍽️ Finish at Yorkdale for an optional dinner at Pickle Barrel Please note that **this is a one-way walk**. We will finish at Yorkdale and **will not return to the starting location.** *** ## ☀️ Weather & Expectations This walk happens rain or shine unless severe weather makes it unsafe. The route is mostly easy with a few gentle hills and is suitable for most people who enjoy walking. This is a social walk—not a guided historical tour.
