After his wife leaves him, a geography professor swaps Barcelona for a job at a Portuguese quinta. Gentle, elegant drama about second chances featuring the wonderful acting of Manolo Solo (Pan's Labyrinth) and Maria de Medeiros (Pulp Fiction). Fernando is a timid geography professor in Barcelona who loves paper maps. The latter don’t help when his wife leaves him one morning with her things but without warning or explanation, leaving him rudderless.
