Drawing in the Open Studio
About the event
Do you not only want to look around the museum, but also get started yourself? Then come and draw in the studio and let your creativity run free. During your visit to the museum, be sure to stop by the studio. No experience is necessary: creativity is in everyone. Whether you are young or a bit older. The Open Studio is freely accessible to all museum visitors, i.e. after purchasing an entrance ticket for the museum. You will find the Open Studio next to the restaurant. Drop-in workshop When: Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 2pm. Wednesday from 2pm to 4pm. For whom: all ages. Children can participate under the supervision of their parents or adult supervisors. In the period when the days are short and dark, you can sometimes use a ray of light. Draw, stamp, and write a personal postcard inspired by Van Gogh under the guidance of our workshop teacher. Send it and be a ray of light for someone. Drawing assignments If you come on another day or time, you can also visit the studio. There you will discover the world of form, light and perspective. Pencils and paper are ready for you on the drawing table. You will also find various drawing assignments and objects. For example, you can choose to draw sunflowers – just like Vincent van Gogh. Or make a sketch of the coffee pot on The Potato Eaters .
