Grachtenfestival: Een Avond met Sasha Witteveen

Double bassist Sasha Witteveen demonstrates the versatility of the double bass during a solo concert at the Grachtenfestival in Felix Meritis Amsterdam. She performs works by Bottesini and Andrés Martín, together with pianist Jorian van Nee, violinist Noa Wildschut, and double bassist José David Ospina Gaviria. Witteveen has won prizes at international competitions in Lucca, Vienna, and the Netherlands and was a finalist in Dutch Classical Talent 2022/23. David Anderson’s Seven Double Bass Duets brings two double basses into dialogue: short pieces full of humor, character, and rhythm. Talented musicians Sasha Witteveen performs with pianist Jorian van Nee, violinist Noa Wildschut, and double bassist José David Ospina Gaviria. Witteveen has previously performed at the Royal Concertgebouw, TivoliVredenburg, and the Wiener Musikverein, and has soloed with the Residentie Orkest and LUDWIG.
