Varta Storytelling Festival

Varta – a storytelling festival inspired by South-Asia is a global storytelling and literary festival that aims to celebrate delightful stories from across the world. Coming for the 3rd time to its Austin home, in 2026, the theme is “weave." This exploress merging heritage identities with lived experiences to create stories. The event is open to the whole family and will include: storytelling, dancing, art workshops, an author panel, and much more!
