The Creative Reset for Educators
About the event
Creative Reset for Educators Regulation, reflection & art journaling Teaching asks a lot of you. As the year begins to wind down, this is an opportunity to step out of teacher mode for a couple of hours and make some space for you. Creative Reset is a small, guided wellbeing experience combining nervous-system regulation, reflection and art journaling. Facilitated by occupational therapist Aimee Isaacs, the session begins with simple body-based regulation practices to help you slow down, release stress and connect with your body. From there, you'll be gently guided through an art-journaling process exploring your own experience of the year — what has taken from you, what has sustained you, and what you might need more of as you move toward the end of the year. This isn't an art class. You don't need to be artistic, creative or "good at journaling". There is no perfect page to create. The focus is on slowing down, expressing yourself and enjoying the process and leaving feeling like you have more capacity for the rest of the year.
