Live at Sweat: BOYFRIEND (New Orleans)
About the event
New Orleans multidisciplinary artist Boyfriend brings sharp lyricism, theatrical performance and genre-crossing pop sensibility to an intimate in-store show in Little Haiti. Live at Sweat: BOYFRIEND takes place Saturday, November 7 at Sweat Records as part of the artist’s 15-year celebration and farewell tour. The all-ages performance offers a close-up setting for fans of her music, writing and stage work.
Since emerging in 2012, Boyfriend has built a distinctive creative practice that spans performance, songwriting, production and theatrical storytelling. Her collaborators and credits include work connected to Charli XCX, Troye Sivan, Rebecca Black, Slayyyter, Lil Wayne, Big Freedia, Pussy Riot and Billy Porter, with music featured across television, film and brand campaigns.
The show follows the release of In the Garden, her 2025 musical concept album and a recent favorite at Sweat Records. Refreshments will be available during the event.
