This year’s short film programme presents eight new works by Black British filmmakers. The films span documentary, drama a variety of genres, exploring themes ranging from faith and identity to friendship, memory and belonging. Together, they present a snapshot of contemporary Black British short filmmaking. The screening will be followed by the S.O.U.L. Fest Short Film Awards, celebrating the very best of this year’s programme, before ending with a festival closing party that you won’t want to miss.
