🌽 THIS MONTH'S THEME: Mooncake and Tsukimi Dango in the spirit of both Taiwan's and Japan's Mid-Autumn Festival 100% plant-based & all you can eat!

The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of Taiwan's three major festivals, along with the Lunar New Year and the Dragon Boat Festival. It is a national holiday celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month (September 25, Friday, in 2026). It is considered the day of the "harvest moon," when the moon shines most beautifully of the year, and families gather at their parents' homes for grand celebrations. In Taiwan, people celebrate by having an outdoor barbecue, which is a standard cultural practice, and by eating round mooncakes, which symbolize completeness and family reunion. In Japan, people offer tsukimi dango — dumplings modeled after the full moon — to pray for health and happiness.

🥦 This event is a chance for people who care about animals and the planet to get together and make like-minded friends in Osaka — all while enjoying amazing cruelty-free food. Whether you're a seasoned vegan or just starting your plant-based journey, you're very welcome. Anyone who loves good food and good company is invited!

🌽 今月のテーマ：台湾と日本の中秋節らしい月餅や月見団子を食べて 100%植物由来＆食べ放題！

台湾の中秋節は、春節（旧正月）・端午節と並ぶ台湾三大節句のひとつで、旧暦8月15日（2026年は9月25日（金））に祝われる国定祝日です。 一年で最も月が美しく輝く「中秋の名月」の日とされ、家族が実家に集まって盛大にお祝いをします。 主な過ごし方・習慣バーベキュー（BBQ）をする：台湾では中秋節に屋外でバーベキューをするのが定番の文化です。 月餅（げっぺい）を食べる：円満や家族団らんの象徴である丸い月餅を食べる習慣があります。 日本では、月見団子: 満月に見立てたお団子を供え、健康と幸せを祈ります。
