Is this your event?About the event
AI is changing how we interact with technology, and it already powers many tools and services we use every day. If you are curious about the latest AI headlines but unsure what they mean for your day-to-day life, you’re in the right place. Join us for a practical, beginner-friendly workshop designed to help you navigate this technology with confidence. Through hands-on activities, group discussions, and videos hosted by CBC's Andrew Chang, we’ll dive into practical uses and useful tips for writing effective prompts. You’ll also discover how to safely manage the real risks and limitations of these tools, including spotting deepfakes and recognizing why and how AI makes mistakes. This program is in partnership with the CBC. Filming Notice: This event may be recorded. By participating, you acknowledge that your image, likeness, and/or voice may be recorded by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (“CBC”).
