About the event

In this Jewellery Design Drawing Course, you will explore how to create a collection of jewellery! This course covers the complete design process - from inspiration to product drawing. No prior drawing or design skills are required. Learn to collect inspiration elements from your everyday life and create a set of mood boards to assist your design. We will also touch on how to communicate with your clients and use critical analysis to aid in decision-making. You will be guided on how to choose your inspirations, use them, and enrich your creativity to generate a complete collection according to your needs. By the end of this jewellery design course, you will have a comprehensive understanding of the design process and be able to create your own collection through sketching. Learning Outcomes By the end of this Jewellery Design course, you should be able to: Design a unique collection of jewellery Collect inspirations Use mood boards to design and communicate Use design analysis methods to analyse your inspirations and make the best use of them Sketch a number of variations for future opportunities Develop critical thinking to review your designs Create a jewellery design portfolio Course content During the course, participants will work with techniques and ideas such as: Learn techniques for gathering inspiration from everyday life and creating mood boards to guide your design process. Follow step-by-step guidance from initial inspiration to final product drawing, translating inspirations into cohesive jewellery designs. Develop strategies for effectively communicating your designs to clients and presenting your creative ideas. Use critical analysis to evaluate and refine your designs, aiding in decision-making processes for selecting the best design elements. Master sketching techniques for creating multiple design variations and compiling a comprehensive jewellery design portfolio. Course materials What to bring to class 10 × A3 paper A mechanical pencil and 2B pencil Used magazines, posts and pictures for inspiration. Materials provided Ruler Pencil Paper
