About the event

Join in at narrm ngarrgu Library Cinema for Driving Miss Daisy (G).

Driving Miss Daisy is a heartwarming, Academy Award-winning story of an unlikely friendship. When 72-year-old Daisy Werthan is no longer able to drive, her son hires Hoke Colburn as her chauffeur. Despite her initial resistance, Hoke’s patience and kindness gradually win her trust. Over 25 years, their relationship grows into a deep friendship that endures social change and challenges in the American South.

Starring Jessica Tandy, Morgan Freeman, and Dan Aykroyd, the film celebrates understanding, respect and human connection.
