UD Festival: Oum

Oum has one of the most beautiful voices in contemporary Afro-Arabic music. Her songs blend elements of soul, jazz, and Moroccan tradition, sung in Darija, Amazigh, French, English, and Spanish. To celebrate the release of her latest album, Dialddar, Oum is coming to our Recital Hall. It promises to be a special, intimate evening, accompanied by three backing vocalists, the oud, and percussion. This concert is amplified. More information is on this page. UD Festival The sixth edition of UD Festival will take place between 3 and 22 November 2026 in several concert venues in The Netherlands. A festival entirely dedicated to the Ud, the instrument that forms the musical bridge between East and West. The ud once made a long journey from Baghdad to Andalusia, and formed the base of a musical revolution in the West. The Amsterdams Andalusisch Orkest organized the first edition of the UD Festival in 2016.
