Maaike Ouboter is known for her personal, Dutch-language songs. In 2013, she had her breakthrough with Dat ik je mis, a song that grew into a national hit and has since become a classic. Several albums and performances have followed since then. In this theatre tour, she takes you through the songs that shaped her life, from early work to her latest songs.

Intimate atmosphere in a small venue

De Kleine Komedie in Amsterdam offers the perfect environment for this tour. In an intimate setting, you get close to Maaike and her band. She combines music with telling the stories behind the songs. This way, you not only get to hear the tracks, but also the context and personal meaning attached to them.

An evening with band

Maaike is deliberately playing this tour with her regular band. That gives the music a fuller sound than in a solo performance. The songs about love, longing, sorrow, and comfort sound even more poignant this way. It is an evening that takes you through the years, along her most beautiful and personal work.
