Piet van Eeghen - De Lieve Vrede (première)

In his second cabaret show 'De Lieve Vrede', Piet van Eeghen examines everything that goes on between him and his fellow human beings. With absurdist songs and witty confessions, he takes you into his world full of contradictions. To be seen at De Kleine Komedie Amsterdam. Cabaret about the struggle with your fellow human beings

Piet van Eeghen won the audience award at the Leids Cabaret Festival with his first show. In it, he examined his own mind. In his second show De Lieve Vrede, his gaze shifts outwards. He examines everything that goes on between him and other people. People he can long for, but whom he also wants to wallpaper over the moment they arrive.

Absurdist songs and convoluted thoughts

With absurdist songs and convoluted musings, Piet van Eeghen shows how contradictory people are. He wants to show his teeth, but prefers to keep the peace. That tension between what you feel and what you do forms the common thread of the show. His humour is dry, his angle original.
