About the event

Finally finished; the follow-up to audience favourite Amsterdam Wildlife. Martin Melchers and Merel Westrik train their cameras on night-time Amsterdam filming the oh so secretive pine marten, moths and owls. Upbeat nature documentary with a healthy dose of Amsterdam humour. In this film, the two primarily highlight Amsterdam’s night-time animals. From growing owls to cavorting pine martens and from an open air concert by natterjack toads to the search for the most amazing urban moths and owls. Pre-film Prior to some screenings of Amsterdam Wildlife by Night , you will see the short film Planktonium (3') by Jan van IJken from 2021 about the invisible world of living microscopic plankton, an unknown universe inhabited by alien-like creatures. These wondrous organisms
