Looking for a relaxed way to spend your Saturday evening? Join us for Board Gayme Night at Villa Vida Café — an evening of games, queer community, and meeting people without the awkward pressure of a traditional social event.
📅 Saturday, 5 September ⏰ 18:00–late 📍 Villa Vida Café, Linke Wienzeile 102, 1060 Vienna
Whether you’re a board game enthusiast, an occasional player, or have absolutely no idea what you’re doing, you’re welcome. 🃏♟️🎲 Come by yourself, with a friend, with a partner, or with a whole group. Arriving alone is completely normal — you can join a table and meet people through playing rather than having to make endless small talk.
🌈 What to expect: ✨ Board and card games ✨ Beginner-friendly atmosphere ✨ Queer community & new faces ✨ No need to be competitive ✨ Stay for one game or the whole evening ✨ Bring a favourite game if you want — or simply show up
🌍 Languages: We’re a multilingual community. English and German are commonly spoken, but there’s no required event language. Tables can play in whatever language works for everyone involved.
♿ Accessibility: Villa Vida Café has step-free access and an accessible toilet. The café is non-smoking indoors. Please keep in mind that several games and conversations may happen at once, so the space can become lively and noisy.
