Naruko (Bird Clappers)

Taro Kaja and Jiro Kaja are using bird clappers to chase birds away from a paddy field where the rice is ripening. They are drinking sake and feeling good.... This play evokes the atmosphere of autumn.

Yūgao (Moonflower)

The woman that a monk meets near Gojo in Kyoto is the spirit of Yūgao, who was loved by Prince Hikaru Genji. This play, based on the Yūgao chapter of The Tale of Genji, weaves a fleeting yet pure story.
