Shy Philosophers In the Park: Potluck Picnic
About the event
Let's celebrate the end of summer with a picnic in the park!
What: This will be a casual get-together, and a chance to hang out and get to know each other a bit better. So no set topic or structured discussion this time, but of course feel free to bring a burning question or a brilliant idea to share with others! When: Saturday, September 12th, starting at 4pm and ending around Sunset. Come anytime during that window. Where: Trout Lake Park. Let's meet between the beach and the covered area. See the map pin below. What to bring:
• Food: If you're able, please bring something to share with the group. I'll take care of utensils, plates, and napkins, so no need to bring these. • Supplies: Blankets and or camping chairs if you have them. If anyone has a folding table and can easily transport it, that could be helpful!
RSVP Policy: RSVP's will open 3 weeks before the event. Let's set a tentative cap at 30 for this event, with around 20 spots for regular members and 10 spots for newcomers. So even though we'll be outside, please do try to keep your RSVP status up to date as your plans change.
