After a warm and sunny summer in Amsterdam, September is just around the corner. Work starts picking up again. The holidays come to an end. The days slowly become shorter, and many of us find ourselves settling back into our routines. So, I thought this felt like the perfect time for our very first Let's Walk About It. This month, we'll explore a question that many people with anxiety eventually ask themselves: **"Why isn't anything I'm trying actually working?"** Social media is full of advice telling us to fix anxiety. Breathe differently. Think differently. Eat differently. Take this supplement. Avoid that trigger. Calm your nervous system. Even with the best intentions, we can slowly start believing that anxiety is something we need to get rid of before we can properly live our lives. Together, we'll explore why our understandable attempts to control anxiety can sometimes become part of what keeps us stuck, what we currently understand about how anxiety works, and why trying harder isn't always the answer. This is **not** therapy. It's a relaxed walk where we'll learn together, reflect together, and have honest conversations about anxiety in a welcoming environment. Whether you've been struggling with anxiety for years, you're simply curious, or you'd just like to meet others while spending a Sunday morning outdoors, you're very welcome to join! \*This event is limited to only 8 attendees, so make sure to secure your spot on time!\* Looking forward to seeing you there!
